Allergy UK host a Industry Group event

    Posted: 01 Nov 2012

I think we can sometimes forget about all the hard work that goes on behind the scenes to improve the lives of people with allergies and intolerances. So when Allergy UK organised an event to present a years worth of efforts and future aims, to their supportive network of companies, I felt nothing but admiration to their commitment in making a difference.

In this tough economic climate, charities are usually the first to feel the pinch. I'm sure we've all done our bit in the past by popping money into charity boxes and the like. Even more so when a child takes up a sponsored silence (when it's not just the charity that benefits)! But with jokes aside, it's so important we show our support to charities like Allergy UK and Anaphylaxis Campaign so they can continue offering advice and information to those who need it.

I can't say too much now, but Allergy UK are keeping true to their word in 'leading the fight against allergies'. They have exciting plans ahead that will really improve the support parents have been crying out for when it comes to their child with allergies. This new initiative will be launching next year. So I'll make sure to keep you all posted with further developments.
