And the winner of the children's Fact Find Hunt at The Allergy & Free From Show North 2015 is...

Allergy Adventures headed North for The Allergy & Free From Show 2015 up in Liverpool. What a fab weekend and in such a great new space. This year's show was in the newly built Exhibition Centre and from what I heard, you were all loving the extra room as you navigated around the stands with your bags of freefrom loot ;)

To help capture all the jammed-packed action over the weekend, I've created a short video (see above) which highlights what could be seen at the show, as well as the children's Fact Find Hunt, story time, fun crafts and catching up with you lovely lot. I can guarantee the video will do a far better job than me writing about it (I'm constructing this post in the early hours!) Plus, in the video the winner of the children's Fact Find Hunt is announced!!! *Exciting times*

    You kept us busy ;)
From the moment the doors were opened, there wasn't a minute spare. In fact, we were told the show had reached capacity come midday on the Saturday, that the organisers had to enforce a 'one in, one out' policy. Wow.

    A big thank you
I like to say a huge thank you to the sponsors of the Allergy Adventures' Fact Find Hunt - Feel FreegranoVitaNature's Path and Tesco Free From.

The hunt was a brand new event I created for children visiting the show, while parents shopped for freefrom bargains. Children were kept entertained by keeping their eyes peeled for four clues hidden around the show. Once all four clues had been found, children could collect a free activity poster at the FINISH on Allergy Adventures' stand, and enter their answers for a chance to win a box of allergy-friendly crafts. Watch the short video above to find out if your little hunter was the lucky one!

    Teamwork!
I also would just like to say a big thank you to the team who helped me at the Liverpool show. I couldn't have done it without you!!

    • Allergy Mum, Phillipa and her daughter who have come every year to the show since I started!
    • Julia, a registered dietitian (a.k.a. Alimentary bites) who helps parents and carers managing children on restricted diets.
    • And my mum!

And a big thanks to all of you that visited us. LOVED, LOVED, LOVED meeting you all and I can't wait for our next adventure to begin!
